Information about the use of cookies on this website

In compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, we inform you of the use of cookies on the websites and applications of A3 LOGISTIC 1994, S.L. in order to facilitate and improve user navigation, remembering where you browsed on the website, your preferences and display settings.

What are cookies?

Cookies are simple files that can be downloaded to your device through web pages. They are scripts that play an essential role in providing numerous information society services. Among other things, they allow a web page to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device and, depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognise the user and improve the service offered.

By entity

Depending on which entity manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished:

  • First-party cookies: These are cookies sent to the user's terminal device from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: Those sent to the user's terminal device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

By duration

There is also a second classification according to the length of time they remain stored in the client's browser, which can be:

  • Session cookies: These are cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page. They are usually used to store information that is only of interest to retain for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion.
  • Persistent cookies: These are cookies in which the data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the person responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

By purpose

The last classification is according to the purpose for which the data obtained is processed:

  • Technical cookies: These allow the user to navigate through a web page, platform or application and use the various options or services available on it, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing a purchase process, submitting a registration or event participation request, using security elements during browsing, storing content for video or audio streaming, or sharing content through social networks.
  • Personalisation cookies: These allow the user to access the service with certain general predefined features based on a set of criteria on the user's device, such as the language, the type of browser through which the service is accessed, the regional configuration from which the service is accessed, etc.
  • Analytical cookies: These allow those responsible for them to track and analyse the behaviour of users on the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications or platforms and to create browsing profiles of users of those sites, applications and platforms, with the aim of making improvements based on the analysis of usage data by service users.
  • Advertising cookies: These allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of advertising spaces.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: These store information about the behaviour of users obtained through continued observation of their browsing habits, which allows a specific profile to be developed to display advertising based on that profile.
  • Social network cookies: These are used so that visitors can interact with the content of different social platforms. The conditions of use of these cookies and the information collected are governed by the privacy policy of the corresponding social platform.
