Types of units for perishable transport
The transport of perishable products requires specialist units that guarantee proper preservation throughout the journey:
- Isothermal unit: built with insulating material, limiting heat exchange with the exterior
- Refrigerant unit: with installed cold source that maintains temperature down to -20 °C
- Refrigerated unit: cold-producing device that permanently maintains temperature between -12 °C and -20 °C
- Heated unit: allows raising the temperature inside the box and keeping it constant at no less than 12 °C
